This tour will appeal to anyone with a sense of fun and adventure - all we expect is that you can ride a bike. There is a bit of peddling but you don’t need to be a super athlete, just feel the need for fun and fresh air.

The bikes are a cruiser style bike – a modern take on an old bike with big soft seats, large easy rolling wheels and only three gears!  (don’t worry, we’ve tested it, and the bikes work a treat).  Check out our Schwinn Coffee or Cream bikes in the pictures gallery.

Knowledgeable local guides will guide you through the vineyards with a couple of wine tastings along the way - of course!

The Gibbston River trail has been a labour of love for a group of passionate and dedicated Gibbston locals who recently achieved their dream when it opened.  It is now part of Nga Haerenga, a NZ government sponsored cycle trail network which allows anyone to appreciate NZbybike.
Please note that the Cycle de Vine tours are seasonal and will be operating from early October 2011.
